Our 4D System exists because a good diagnosis isn't a lucky guess, it's a sequence that helps rule out what probably won't work before it lets you spend on what probably will.
Search the internet for any noise problem and you'll find numerous confident answers that often disagree with each other, dependent on who benefits most from the answer.

Most of it is half-right for a situation that isn't yours.
Google, YouTube, AI, manufacturers, tradespeople and forums can all give you possible solutions.
The difficult part is knowing which of those solutions actually belongs to your problem.
That's what the Acoustics Decoded 4D System is designed to do.

What constraints exist?
Before measuring or treating anything, we establish what kind of problem needs to be solved.
Identify the pathways most worth investigating.

Sometimes one dominates. Sometimes several interact.
The aim is not false precision.
It is to identify the pathway or combination most consistent with the information available and recognise what evidence is still missing.
Rule out, prioritise & sequence.
We consider:
what does not fit the diagnosed pathway
which weaknesses deserve attention first
which treatment classes are relevant
what your budget and DIY capability realistically allow
whether measurement would change the decision
whether further work is likely to produce meaningful benefit
whether the problem should now be escalated to a specialist
A technically great solution applied to the wrong problem is still the wrong decision.
Choose the right way to proceed
Once the decision is clear, you choose the delivery path.
DIY: use the relevant guides and frameworks yourself.
Do it with guidance: validate your interpretation before committing.
Use a trade: brief someone with a clearer understanding of what needs attention.
Escalate: where certification, compliance, specialist measurement, modelling or complex design is required, engage an appropriately qualified acoustic professional.
The aim isn't to keep every problem inside Acoustics Decoded.
